How does Planning Workbench calculate qty/rate of lot based jobs

Advanced Supply Chain Planning.  Centralized.  R12.2.5

We use OSFM.  It should not matter to this question, but we move our work orders in a custom app which sends work order (LBJ) data into Oracle.

Our routes have yields, such as 90% or 85%, at the last step in the route

We need to correctly understand how the qty/rate is calculated for work orders.  How does memory based planner calculate the output (qty/rate) of lot based jobs?

Is the work order "Net" quantity considered?

Is it only the current quantity multiplied by remaining yield?

Is there any difference from OSFM to WIP (we had been using discrete WIP in the past)

Howdy, Stranger!
