Insert Position - Applet Property is not working VBC based applets

Siebel tries to insert new record at the last position (which is absolutely not necessary), hence the requirement is display latest record at the top.

We have Insert Position - Applet property in Siebel Tools, which unfortunately not working  for VBC based applet.

Neither, sorting on Created date is working.

Please advise.

1. Why Insert Position for VBC based applet not working

2. Why it is not Vanilla functionality to display recent records on top for VBC based applets.
