Barcode scanning with JDE

Hi All

Posting this question to this group to understand how JDE would work with regular Barcode scanners. I know and have seen JDE work with DSI and other hand held devices. But I want to check how JDE would work with regular barcode scanners. How does the integration work. Our client would be using this to scan locations, items, work order numbers etc. Are there any MTRs for this integration to work. We will be using JDE E1 9.2.
