PM Service request is not getting generated if item is not defined in the Activity Schedule

in Lease and Finance Management - EBS (MOSC) Question

Hi,

Could you please help in understanding the below points.

1) Is there any standard program which defines effectivities for items under fleet maintenance for which PM service request needs to be generated. Like we define Program schedule and activity schedule on contract coverage and items needs to be defined in the activity and program attached with these schedules. so is there any standard program for that or we need to manually define items under fleet maintenance.?

2) Do we need to define items in both PROGRAM and ACTIVITY to generate the PM service request or we need to define it in program only. Like we have  FRANCE PM PROGRAM and FRANCE PM ACTIVITY and in our case we have define the item in FRANCE PM PROGRAM only under fleet maintenance. PM service request are getting created for most of the items. But there are some cases where PM SR did not generated.  Hence we define items under FRANCE PM ACTIVITY also for such cases and after that PM SR get created . Why this happened?
