ORA-56720: I/O data limit exceeded

Hi All,

I found one issue where Customer reported they are getting error ORA-56720: I/O data limit exceeded in application.

wait event " inactive transaction branch " is in top consumer in ASH and AWR. Frequent ORA-01555 is seen for the same duration but that is for a different SQL.

Does it happen when we have UNDO pressure.

Can you please let me know how ORA-56720, ORA-1555 and " inactive transaction branch "  are related.
