REQUEST OF PROCEDURE TO COPY ITEM BRANCH ATTACHMENTS STORED ON F00165 FROM ONE BP TO ANOTHER ONE

Hello ,

Please note that we need to migrate a big number of items from 1 B/P to another.The standard  program to copy Item/Branch records (R41826) does not have the ability to copy attachments.

The Item/Branch attachments are stored in a separate table (F00165) identified by a specific Object Name and with a specific Generic Text Key. And if you change the Generic Text Key from a B/P to another one, it can be copied. It is something quite technical and possibly needs a specific process.

Please investigate the best way to migrate those attachments.
