Project management deliverable approval

We are trying to configure the project management deliverable workflow. When the status of the deliverable is changed it should go for approval.  Not sure which workflow we need to modify. Since the deliverble status type is available within Project Status, we tried to use the PA Approval Workflow for this. But that did not work. Any help here is highly appreciated.
