Venezuela Monetary conversion ( 3 zeros less )

Hi Gurus!

Could you please help me with this scenario: Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro announced Thursday he would re-value the crisis-wracked country's bolivar currency, cutting three zeroes from current values to combat hyperinflation. Has anyone gone through this and could you tell me how it went?  I do not know if we will have to download all the transactions and make a new load with the new currency or if there is any better practice. Can you please help me?
