P75I804: GST Ledger Set Up Query

Dear Community Member

We have a query on GST Ledger Set Up we have done for India. Please find attached the screen shot.

1.) We have added GST Ledger Records for next year 2018. However for first and second period we see the fields previous period start date, Previous period end date are Blank. What can be the reason. Did we make any mistake in set up?

2.) We are currently in April Period . Period 1 in 2018. We are creating transaction in April 2018. However we are getting error "The GST ledger entry is not for the current period. You cannot enter transactions for a closed period or for a period that does not have a GST unit record in the GST Ledgers Setup table (F75I804). No update made in this transaction."
