Ping from CLI

HI All,

stupid question but i've been looking around for 2 hours now and cant seem to figure it out.

I have a eSBC1100 with 1 internal and 1 external interface.

I am trying to ping from the CLI to the internet using the EXT interface.

OTD-SBC2# ping callcentric.com

Bad Address

ping:

<host-address>       host address or name to ping

<if-name:vlan>       optional; network interface and vlan to use

<source-ip>          optional; source IP address to use (must be same IP version as destination)

But it wont ping. I tried to put the if-name "ext.pub.rogers:998" which is the if-name:vlanID and the source IP being the external IP but still keeps popping up the menu.
