Environment Director with E812

Dear Friends,

Application Release : E812

Tools Release Level : 8.98.4.2

Aim : To create custom path code and Environment.

Document ID : 2216807.2 suggest to use the Environment Director (P989400) application beginning with the EnterpriseOne Release 9.0 and later.

For releases prior to EnterpriseOne 9.0, a custom environment can be added through the Installation Plan.

We are in E812 release with 8.98.4.2 tools release. We do have P989400 Application in the Deployment Server.

Is there a known limitation to use Environment director application in our release(E812) ?

Please suggest.

Below thread suggests environment director can be used with E812/8.98.x
