Environment: Oracle 12C (12.1.0.2) - 2 node RAC, Oracle Linux 7.4;   Standby (Active DG)  Oracle 12C (12.1.0.2), Oracle Linux 7.4

Bigfile table spaces; Blocksizes: data-16K, indexes 32K

Largest datafiles:   1 at 198GB, 1 at 373GB -  the rest are less than 25GB

RMAN schedule: Level 0 weekly; level 1 other days; archive logs hourly (no issues)

Backups: 16 per set - uncompressed.

Backup Media:  NetBackup

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Scenario:

When backups are running (evening/overnight schedule) the ADG lag time alerts are being issued.

Lag time can be from 3 to 5 minutes. The rest of the day it is sub-second. This has also resulted in

the ADG database to "crash" with an indication that the time to update the database results in ASMB

Howdy, Stranger!
