Restore backup of Deployment server

Hi,

I am not CNC resource, however, I do package build and tools upgrade when needed in our company. We don't have dedicated CNC person. Recently we have faced login issue with deployment server and we need to restore backup of deployment server to make it work.

We are on App 9.2 and Tools 9.2.1.4, OS: Windows 2012 R12

My questions are below.

We have restore only deployment server from February 10, 2018 backup and did not restore Enterprise server. Is that fine?

We have done some code change on March 10, 2018 to one of our business function. After restoring deployment server, when we checked code, we saw new code is already there. Is this okay? I would have expected to see old code only. Is anything I am missing with this process?
