Initial job was to upgrade the server version on the Oracle Database Appliance ODA X6-2M, from 12.1.2.12 to 12.2.1.0

Server patching was successful, however patching the dbhomes was not....!

So please, DO NOT update to ver. 12.2.0.1 since it's very buggy!

The bare-metal restore on ver. 12.2.0.1. however, is working very nicely!

But we won't start doing only bare-metal restores in order to have the newest version! Are you going to build up a new house any time you need just another floor?????

After server patching, /u01 is getting very full, see below.

9 GB of space are required to run additional patching jobs on the ODA, no way doing that, Oracle support is not very talkative about what data needs to be deleted
