P4104 associated item with non-stock item

Hi,

Is it possible to use P4104 cross reference screen to add non-stock item to an inventory item as an associated item ?

I took an inventory item A and in P4104 I associated an inventory item B and a non-stock item C (I was able to type item C even if is a non-stock item).

Then in P4210 when typing item A, I get an arrow to indicate that there is associated item to item A.  When I go in P42260 to see the associated item list, I only get the item B but not the no-stock C even if I type * in MCU.
