SEPA format Version 3.1

Is anyone aware if Oracle are looking into the new SEPA format Version 3.1 which I believe needs to be adopted Dec 18, certainly in Germany if not throughout the EU. Not yet sure how significant the impact of the new format is but can find no mention of it on the Oracle support site.
