Here are my notes in no certain order.

Big news is 17 will become 18 starting later this month and will be called 18.4.  18.5 will be first true 18 release with 18.5 supporting gateway clustering.

Thanks for all who attended.  See see you next week in Chicago for Oracle's UX week and more great Siebel learnings.

  • IP 18 new features include
    • dash boards
    • chat bots (voice and Natural Language Processing)
    • Task maps
  • Patch sets will be replaced by updates and these might start coming out quarterly instead of monthly
  • 18.4 will be 17.7
  • 18.5 will be the first true 18 update
  • 18.5 will include gateway clustering
  • 18.6 will be binary only update
