To ask for any Virtual Time used by Oracle Database for testing purpose

Hi all,

We have installed Oracle Database 11g in Microsoft Windows Server. We would like to handling some test case to simulate the scenario that depends on date and time and think how to use virtual time (i.e. the date and time that backward from the current date)  instead of the real time in the Operating System for testing purpose. Is there any tool or settings provided by Oracle in Oracle Database or any third party software to handle the mentioned test case? Or if the installation of oracle database in virtual machine is the only way to cope with the testing
