Integration between the Portfolio and Project features

Probably this should be already an idea and probably it is already in the roadmap.
I have been diving in the Portfolio features of Prime and it seems there is very few integration between those and the normal project features. For example, if we have a schedule in the Schedule app, why the Portfolio do not assume the start and finish dates that are there? Why do we need to input manually the CPI if we can calculate it in the cost sheet? By the way, why isn´t there yet in the cost sheet a SPI field if we have all the data we need for it?
