DB 12.1 Cross Platform datapump import for Transportable tablespace "STATISTICS/MARKER" takes 16 hrs

This is EBS 12.1.3 Oracle Database 12.1.0.2 of 7 TB size,  we are doing Cross Platform AIx - Linux DB Migration.

Datapump export is great and good.

While doing Datapump Import for Transportable tablespace, it takes good 16 hours on the following:

Processing object type TRANSPORTABLE_EXPORT/STATISTICS/MARKER

Importing statistics failed for 37 object(s);

     Completed 1 MARKER objects in 58032 seconds ?

What is this and why is this taking such a long time? How it can be fixed and make better performance ?
