Disable all kinds of Inventory Item Transactions

Hello,

Is there a way to stop all kinds of inventory movement against an item (sale, procurement, inventory transaction altogether)?

We don't want to delete the item nor hide it as. Another way to say it is that we want to make it available to users for inquiry only, but can't be used in any routing, preferably with a customized notification to them when they try to do so.

The problem we are trying to solve is that an inventory item was mistakenly duplicated and few movements were made with it, so we want to disable this new one from being used anymore in any movement, without erasing what happened. This is why using stocking types O and U has its limits because they only affect purchase orders and sales orders but not inventory transaction P4112 and P4114.
