Advance preferences - Inventory Comm.

Hi,

If we are using item group(lets say GRP1 with cat code 7) in the 05 type preference, where does the system checks the cat code of an item. Does it checks in the item master or in item branch.

Les say Customer: 12345

Item                      : A1

GRP item group is defined with cat code : item type (7)

A1 item master cat code 7 - IMP

A1 item branch1 cat code 7 - LOC

12345 customer cat code: ABC

Which cat code of the item will be searched and preference will be resolved.
