Change in Depreciable Life and sub-classification

Hi All,

My Finance department has decided they want to change the Depreciable Life of several Categories of Assets, however , for some categories, they want to split out into 2 or more different groups of Life in Years. What would be the recommended way to have this done. While preserving Depreciation History?
