Does po create documents workflow create PO automatically without sourcing rule

Hi,

We have an requirement to created PO automatically after Requisition gets approved. If we use po create documents workflow, does  PO create automatically after setting up the below mandatory attributes

and without sourcing rule or BPA/Contract PO.?

- Is Automatic Creation Allowed? = Yes    (This is the PO Create Documents workflow)

- Is Automatic Approval Allowed? = Yes     (This is the PO Create Documents workflow)

- Send PO Autocreation to Background? = No    (This is the Requisition approval workflow)

When i looked some documents , they are suggesting to create sourcing rules as a part of this automation process..

Please advise.
