JOB in Processing Status - Internet LINK Fail

Dear All,

The issue is relating to internet.

Let me explain :

We have to two Link for Internet ie Primary and Secondary.

We have configured in ini for JDE emails in SMTP at port 25.

The issues is when the primary link go down the pdf gets not generated (BI reports ) get stopped and the system behave differently ie the jobs go  in processing status it takes very long time to get down.

As link goes up the job go normal.

we have tried to switch to secondary (our network team) but the issue did not get resolved.

So is there any solution for this.
