F41021 * weighted average cost does not balance to ASOF Amount Balance

Hi

I have read many of the articles in Oracle Support and came across certain bugs for R41544 related to weighted average items. Bugs 10982776 and 13359416.  I would like to know if it is actually valid comparing stock value(F41021 * weighted average cost) to cumulative value of extended amount or ASOF Balance.

Please advise.
