loss of temporary tablespace

  Hello!

We are using version 11.2.0.4 oracle db,

according note ID 178992.1 the database opens normally in case of missing of the tempfile is at the OS level.

In case of full or partial loss of temporary tablespace file(s) of cold copy db:

- can I use for clone purpose OS copy of file(s) from working source db without making new could backup of whole db and shooting down the instance of source db;

- whether the db can exchange temporary files with the clone(mirror copy) and vs "on the fly"?
