Timestamp on SR entries

Seems like I had seen this mentioned before, possibly created as an "idea".  But if so, I can't locate it and would like to raise it again ...

It would be very (as in 'VERY') helpful if SR updates had actual timestamps, instead of "x hours/days ago".  Actually, I'm rather shocked that this was not implemented from the very beginning.  It seems like such a no-brainer in recording an electronic 'conversation'.  Forum postings universally timestamp each posting.  Why doesn't the SR system?
