Budgetary Control on Summary Accounts Level

Hi,

We are in the process of implementing budgetary Control and Encumbrance in our Organization.

We have successfully completed all the steps of setup. We do not want Budgetary control at Natural Account detail level. We want to implement control on Parent level instead of individual Natural Accounts.

Natural Accounts

800010000 Sales and Marketing (Parent)

Our Accounting Flexfield is as follows:

Company-Unit-Cost Center-Natural Account

We want to control the budget at Parent value instead of each Natural Account Separately. We want to enter One amount for all Natural accounts under one Parent Account. Right now the budgetary control is checking funds for each cost center of a natural account separately.
