PO Partial Receipt Cancel line

Hi Team,

I have a Business Scenario

Suppose total quantity on PO is 100 pC's out of 100 we received 60 and later decided to cancel 40 quantity

so we will have 999 status even for received quantity

I tried Receipt option 9  and 7 but none will help if i choose to close quantity after partial receipt

is there a way to have separate status for received and cancelled line

How other people deal with this in JD Edwards

How they identify it's a received line for certain quantity and out of which few quantities cancelled
