Hello, everybody

I have a question regarding updating the OPatch tool.

When running opatch lsinventory I get these informations:

oracle$ ./opatch lsinventory

Although our other applications are already updated:

What are the benefits on updating the OPatch itself ? is it any pre-requisite for upgrading other applications in the future ?
