Output post processor throwing error for &(ampersand) in the address

Hello experts,

I'm experiencing a problem with '&' in customer address data where output post processor is not generating output and the concurrent request completes with a warning status.  I have tried substituting '&' for '&' in the query.  When I do that, the output shows '&' instead of the expected '&'.  Is there anything else that I can do so '&' prints correctly?

We are on 12.1.3 and DB is 12.1.0.2.0
