Unable to cancel the claim

We have a case, where a split claim does not allow us to cancel.

Scenario:

Receipt Created - $100

Invoice1 Application - $40

Claim Investigation - $60 --> DED1 created

DED1 settled with $25 RMA --> DED1_1 (split claim) created for the remaining $35 --> Receipt Balance is $35

Receipt Closed with - Invoice 2 application

At this time, the receipt is closed. parent claim DED1 is closed. Split Claim DED1_1 is open.

We want to cancel this claim as the receipt is closed, but we are not able to. The only options we can see in the status is "OPEN","CLOSED".

Any help is appreciated
