How to upgrade from ebs r12.1.3 to ebs 12.2

Currently i have 3 Tier setup, all servers running on VMs, database running on version 12.1.0.2, Apps server running version 12.1.3 and Web server version 12.1.3 running in DMZ. How do i upgrade this environment. The App and Web do not share  APPL_TOP so basically this is not a shared environment.
