Global Leave vs. Self-Service Time Entry
Hello,
I reviewed the HCM Self-Service Reference Manual and I could not find the explanation I was looking for therefore the following question:
In the Reference Manual, for the following: Setting Up the Time Entry Interface for Employee Self-Service where we can select all fields an employee can see on the P051125 Self-Service Time Entry, namely the following fields related to Global Leave: Leave From Date, Leave Thru Date, Leave Request ID, Leave Hours/1day and so on...
My question or understanding of the logic:
For an employee to request a Leave, that cannot be done from within P051125 Self-Service Time Entry. It must be done only through the Global Leave Administration > Leave request and then that request goes through the approval process and if approved, the Global Leave program creates the time card accordingly and for the dates requested into the
