MR Accomplishment from OSP Order

in Complex Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul - EBS (MOSC) Question

Hi,

Just asking if anyone has been using the OSP functionality with the ability to sign off the Maintenance Requirement as part of the receiving process as I am lead to believe that you cannot sign off Planned or Forecasted requirements in this process.

I do think that this is an problem as a standard business process is to have items maintained by a 3rd party vendor based on a forecasted requirement.

Example would be an engine due for an Overhaul at a scheduled operating hour. Engine is removed and shipped to 3rd party to enable this to occur. When item is shipped back and received the ability to sign off the MR for the OH maintenance requirement is not available.
