How Till configuration done to record the till amount shortage in till reconciliation

in Retail Point-of-Service Solutions (MOSC) Question

How Till configuration done to record the till amount shortage in till reconciliation.

My POS is running in till accountability mode. but when the till amount shortage situation arise during the till reconciliation, it store the shortage negative amount in DB as 0 instead of actual negative value (table : tsn_tndr_control_trans).

Same is happening in Base POS too.

Any suggestion is highly appreciated.
