What is the purpose of AMORTIZE_NBV_FLAG and AMOTIZATION_START_DATE fields in Assets Migration R12?

Hi,

We are migration assets from one book to another.

We have assets with both Çost based as well as NBV based depreciation methods. For which assets, we need to populate these fields while uploading onto FA_MASS_ADDITIONS table?

I tried a couple of test cases with these fields populated and not populated. But it doesn't seem to make any difference. Please advise
