WMS- Packing and shipping through desktop forms

Hello, We want to introduce WMS to a running inventory with mobile transaction limited only to inbound operations. Meaning we would like to continue the shipping process the way it is currently i.e through desktop form. I understand we will loose the ability to pack LPN while shipping. But if we pack the LPN before picking can we use the rest of the shipping process through desktop forms. I've seen LPNs are not showing in shipping transaction form in such cases if we do an auto pick conform. LPNs must show up in the delivery in order to calculate total
