expdp ora-39127 after 11.2 to 12.1 upgrade

The immediate problem here has been resolved via an SR and reference to note 762658.1, but I'm hoping to get a little background and better understanding.  You know when working a SEV-2, they are focused in getting you back in business and out the door as quickly as possible.  No room for discussion.

So here's the deal.  I upgraded an 11.2.0.4 STANDARD EDITION ONE to 12.1.0.2 STANDARD EDITION TWO.

Keep in mind that as a SE database OLAP is not supported even though the OLAP components are there.  Upon upgrade the component registry shows the following

AMD      OLAP Catalog                    11.2.0.4.0   OPTION OFF
APS      OLAP Analytic Workspace
