Will line type SC and stocking type H work for creating purchase orders for jobs?

Hello MOSC,

Will line type SC and stocking type H work for creating purchase orders for jobs? We want to purchase materials for a specific job but we also want to track consumption of items that we stock. White paper 632044.1 explains how to use line type Sc and stocking type H for engineer to order. What would prevent me from using them on a purchase order for materials for a job in Job Cost System 51?
