How can you apply multiple credit cards to pay on a sales order

We know you can apply multiple credit card payments with OM Pre-Payment functionality.  This will deduct funds immediately against the credit card upon authorization. 

How can you apply multiple credit cards to a sales order and have the charges applied at time of invoicing?
