Can I create a CIP through UMA?

Hi,

Can I create a CIP through UMA?

We usually create a CIP manually, and when the invoice comes through UMA, the amount will be added to the CIP.  I was told that a CIP can be created through UMA.  Is that mean when the invoice comes through the UMA, instead of creating a capitalized asset, a WIP can be created?  Do we just change the asset type from Capitalized to CIP under Asset Details tab?  I thought a WIP has to be zero cost to begin with...
