Spreadsheet Upload Add Assets Accounting Date

In 9.2.24 I am testing the Spreadsheet Upload to Add Assets.  Everything looks great...almost to good to be true.  Then, I noticed that the accounting date that was populated in the CSV template is not the same as the accounting date the uploaded into the Interface.  Wondering if anyone has encountered this or is this a known bug?
