MRP Message Type "A" Warning Message

Our planners are getting a MRP warning message type of "A" to increase or decrease the parts list.  With our current process we do adjust the parts list and want to ignore these messages.  If I remove the message type "A" from the UDC 34 MT, will that affect other messages besides adjusting the parts list?  In other words, what types of messages fall under message type "A?"
