Adding Disk - Size problem

Hope this is the correct place to ask this question.  

I have an ASM disk group with 2 - 1TB drives set to normal redundancy inside of ASM Cluster Filesystem.   Space was running low, so I installed 2 more 1 TB drives and added them to the disk group using the ASM Manager GUI.  I expected that this would give me a total of around 2TB of usable space.   Not the case!

Using the ASM Manager, I resized the ACFS to 1400 GB.  And now it says the Usable Free Space is 30GB.  

So the ASM is saying that 4 - 1 TB drives will provide 1430 GB of usable space instead of around 2000 GB.
