Adding a column to an existing table

Hi Friends -

I have a custom table which is already promoted all the way till PD.

Now, I would like to add a new column called UKID to the table.

Where is the best way to add this new field. Should I add it at the end of the table or is it ok if I add in the middle of the table?

In my previous release JDE, when I added in the middle, it created some specs issue and unwanted errors came up.

What is the best practice for this?
