For Freight Update R4981, Do the Date processing options have any effect on AR invoices?

For R4981 processing options, the Defaults tab displays options for setting the invoice date and the GL date.

I don't understand how this option would affect invoice print R42565 or sales update R42800; that is, freight update runs before invoice print which has its own invoice date processing option, as does sales update.

Does the freight update R4981 override the setting in R42565 or R42800 or both?
