How do I inactivate one book (not the default book) on a Profile ID?

We have a Profile ID which needs to have the second book removed, deleted, or inactivated.  Profile ID does not have an Active/Inactive status.  We no longer want this particular Profile ID reporting on the secondary Book. Short of deleting the profile ID, I can't see any options.  Has anyone encountered this issue and if so what steps did you take?
