what is the correct way to change database port in R12.1.3 from both database adn applications

HI,

How can we change the DB Port in R12.1.3, i came across changing s_dbport and s_cmanport in DB context file and running Autoconfig on dbTier  and in application context file change s_dbport run autoconfig will serve the purpose.

is this is correct approach?
